Time flies when your having fun! 6 months ago I thought I was done losing weight. I had went from 425lbs to 213.5lbs and felt great. Today 6 months later I weigh 158lbs. A little thinner than I thought I would get but GOD had other plans. The only thing I would do different is document my weight loss journey on you tube or more photos. I remember pre surgery being so inspired by watching before, during and after videos of weight loss. I turned 41 this past week and feel like life is half over but I also feel that I will enjoy the next half so much more. GOD Bless!

In 4 days it will be 10 months since my DS Surgery. I am currently down 200 lbs. I am the lowest weight I have been since I graduated High School in 1993. I feel really good and would do it all over again. I am so glad I choose the DS Surgery. I am not working out much yet but plan to very soon. I am walking alot  though. I sold my CPAP sleeping machine the other day since I don't need it anymore. I do have some lose skin that I plan on having removed at the 1 year mark. The only regret I have is wasting nearly 2 decades of my life being so overweight. I am exited about enjoying life and becoming as healthy and happy as ever. GOD Bless!

It hard to believe its almost been 6 months...1 week and a day away. I am down 143lbs. and people are really starting to notice the weight loss. I have went from 5XL shirts to XL. I was a 54" waist and now I am down to a 40". I have a ton more energy and have started to push myself in my workouts. I pretty much eat what I want but my portions are about 5-6 bites and any more and I can get sick. I have really stepped up my Vitamin intake and getting ready to have my 6 month labs done. So far so good!

Weight today was down 98lbs. Kinda surprised me. I havent been working out as much but weight slowly keeps going down. Need to improve on getting my vitamins in. Probably could eat and drink more healthy.

Still doing well. 47 pounds down. Cant eat hardly anything. Drinking very slow. Walking alot at the gym. I have my first appointment with my surgeon on Monday. So far so good.

Healing very well. More energy, sleeping better. I can't seem to keep any food down. If I eat anything within 20 minutes I  am in the bathroom. Actually considering purchasing a toilet that sprays water  to clean your backside! Weight is about the same as last week which is kind of weird since I haven't ate much. Walking about 30 minutes a day at the health club. Clothes are getting looser. I love it when people ask me if i have lost weight. I will be ordering some new vitamins today. if i have another chewable Flinstone I am going to die. Considering going to liquid Vitamin & Calcium Citrate. I cant believe how restrictive my stomach is when I drink or eat anything.

Last Wednesday I had DS Surgery. I don't remember much other than waking up a few hours after surgery begging for water. I didn't have alot of pain. After a 4 1/2 day stay I was released to go home. I weighed yesterday a was amazed at the 35+ lbs lost. I am trying to get used to the severe drinking restriction. Everyday seems to get a little better. Lots of supplements and walking right now. My morning started at 6 am. for Pre Op Testing. The hospital was very dialed in. I spent less than a couple minutes waiting and they got started with my testing. Took 2 nurses and 3 needles to find a vain to give some blood samples. Later in the day I had to drink this horrible stuff so the Nurse could X-Ray my organs. The end of the day was a physical in which the Nurse said my blood pressure was a but high. They gave me a couple of scripts for the Blood Pressure and home I went. Overall I was very pleased with the experience. 2.5 weeks till my DS Surgery! I'm kinda excited.

Had my Nutrition Class today at St, Vincent Bariatric Carmel. Tons of information to process. I am always exited after I cross another process off my list that gets me one step closer to Surgery Day. Now I just have my Labs & Physical which are both on the same day.  So far so good!
