SELP POSTING>>>I am 8 days post op. I have no pain but I am so uncomfortable I hate it. I have several liguid bowel movements a day but I feel so full of gas. I cant sleep at all. I came home from hospital Saturday, which truly was a wonderful experience...only 45 min surgery and feeling like superwoman.. but ever since I cant drink or take my pills or I feel nausious, no vomiting though. I am so very tired. like I said I have no pain and I dont take the pain meds. I dont want to come across like a baby or I am dieing or anything but I wasnt prepared for the bloatedness. Wallking helps but I can only walk a bit. BTW I went to work for a couple hours wednesday ( day 7) and I am working a full day tomorrow ( Day 9). It is hard to sit here and type but I wanted to post something and to thank eveyone for thier support, especially MY ANGEL>

Diana, Glad all went well. Your surgery was on my birthday... a lucky day! I hope Hurricane Izzy didn't cause you any discomfort with all her rain, wind, and flooding. - Terri Nyman

Diana's surgery went well today. Her husband Ray was there with her. She was the 1st surgery scheduled and she was out of the operating room by 9:30 this am. I spoke to Ray a few times today to get updates. She is in ALOT of pain from what Rays said. She finally got into her room tonight at around 6:30 or so, can you believe that she has been waiting in the Recovery room since 9:30 am?? this is CRAZY!!! Expecially for someone who is paying out of pocket! I called her around 8:30 and she was sound asleep, I spoke to Ray and he said "all is well" If the hospital would let him, he was going to spend the night there. I will call her tomorrow to get the update and I will post as soon as I get it. If the weather holds up I am planning to go to the hospital tomorrow night.I will make sure to givew her all of your well wishes! ~Diane
