I've been away for far too long...I miss my OH!!  I'm here, trying to enjoy this new life.  It's been tough these last few months.  Thought things would have changed, e.g. boyfriend, children, something.  Maybe I had too many expectations.  I've been binge eating again to the point where I've gained about 15ish lbs.  Not cool, I know.  Need some new motivation.

This weekend has been extremely difficult for me emotionally. Not sure if I'm just PMSing or what but been intensly moody. I've got this reoccurring question that seems to eat at me constantly: "Who Am I Now That I'm Not Fat Anymore?" I mean for years, that was how I had come to identify myself. I was nothing more than fat. I know many of you may have experienced the same struggle. Please share. I just want to be confortable with being myself, only thing is, I'm not sure who she is.

Hey OH fam!  I'm at a stall and I need some help/advice/something.  I want so badly to be under 200 but I've been at 205 for some time now.  I don't know if it's stress or what.  What am I doing or not doing? 

Well, it's been awhile since I've done this.  Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm alive and well...lol.  To date, I weigh 214 lbs from 307 lbs.  I can't believe it!!!  It's definitely a struggle--getting enough protein, water and ESP. exercising. I'm sure most of you have encountered this.  All in all, things are cool.

As the title says, I'm 1 mo post op and I feel okay.  Excited to be losing finally--down 35ish lbs.  Food is an issue.  Sometimes is stays down, sometimes it doesn't.  I have head hunger issues.  Ate some chocolate chip cookies one day but I'm not gonna dwell.  Anyway, overall I feel okay.  Not sure if you can tell in the pics but I DID lose weight, lol.

Hey guys, I'm back!  Surgery went well and I absolutely had the BEST beside manner at the renowned George Washington Hospital in Washington, DC. 

Now, to the nitty gritty.  I HATED MY LIQUID DIET!!  I must say, luckily, it was just a week but if I smell, look or taste broth, jello or broth again, I'm gonna KICK someone.  Yesterday I began the pureed diet and so far it's not too bad.  I am concerned though that I'm not eating enough, drinking enough water, etc.  As far as my pain, having the procedure done openly has convinced me that I've taken soooo much for granted i.e. coughing, bending, sneezing, yawning, ummmm, streching, laughing and yes pooping, LOL.  All in all, my spirits are high and I'm looking forward to the months to come.  Tomorrow I weigh in at my surgeon's office so we'll see what a week and a day post op has produced.

YAY FOR ME!!!

I really just want to get this show on the road.  Tomorrow I have a number of appts with the surgeon, nutritionist, personal trainer, support group, and new patient orientation at the hospital---whew, I'll be busy.  Anyway, like I said, just can't wait.  I'll admit, I think I've let my pre-surgery nerves get the best of me.  After telling myself "NO," I went ahead and entered the "FAILED WLS FORUM."  I don't know why I did it but it's reality, there are some surgery that fail their patients.  GOD I HOPE I"M NOT ONE OF THEM.  Somebody tell me something please, I need some reassuring words right now.

I just worked out. Not much of a work-out though, could've been better. I wish I had Bob or Julian from "Biggest Loser."  I know, I know, EXCUSES.
