"My impression of Dr Johnell is that he is very professional and very careful. A very good combination for a surgeon. His practice is Bariatric only and he has performed over 1000 surgeries. I believe he is very selective in the patients he will operate on. My PCP's nurse was seeing him and a month before her surgery, he told her she would have to go someplace else as he would not do it. I don't know why but he has never lost a patient and I suspect his being selective is a part of the reason. A wonderful staff who care very much for the patients. When Angela called to tell me my insurance was approved, I am not sure she was not more excited than me. The information has been very thorough and I think I am ready.
