1st Post Surgery Appointment

I was down 19 lbs from the start of the journey in November.  I am not sure what I was expecting at the first appointment but I figured I would see the doctor a little more and spend time with them, but nope, about 5 minutes with Dr. Thompson was it.  The PT is the one who took out the staples and put on surgical strips and I waited 1.5 hours for that.  Okay, I should have been a doctor.  Seriously!!!  Next month it will be a group meeting so I won't see the doctor again, instead I'll weigh in and then go into a room with a group of others who are post surgery.  I'm looking forward to meeting others in the Dallas area who are going through this same process.

I'm finding it super hard this week on soft foods to get much down.  I've been in a little pain and feeling super nauseaus.  Now I know why they gave me the prescription for the Phenegran because boy I needed it in the worst kind of way.  I hadn't even had anything to eat but was so sick at my stomach.  It was the oddest feeling in the world.  

Since the appointment at the doctor's office last week I've lost 7 lbs. I'm now at 220.  My appointment in November I was 246.  Although no one ever believes me when I tell them that is what I weigh.
