Said simply: Life is better with VSG.

A couple NSVs I've enjoyed recently: new rain boots, fall boots that zip up, being able to wrap a bath towel around myself without being indecent, borrowed a top from a friend - and it FIT!, went to a wedding and my thighs didn't rub together while dancing (I used to put body glide on to avoid chaffing), my skin (although dry) is very clear, heels are so much more comfortable, dropping from 16+ to size 10s and some size 8s, not nearly as sweaty as i used to be..the list goes on!

Just recently I started shedding more, so I guess hair loss is imminent for me.  My nails are starting to split a little too.  I know part of it just comes with the cold weather.  Speaking of cold weather - I got a heated mattress pad because I needed something to keep me warm without my extra insulation.  OMG it is amazing!!  I still don't drink a lot of caffeine, and to be honest, I miss it.  However, it's always fun to try a new herbal tea.

I've been pleasantly surprised with my skin so far.  I'm down 55lbs from my surgery day and almost 70 overall.  I thought I'd be saggier.  That doesn't mean things don't sag, but i guess i just anticipated worse.

I'm actually looking forward to bathingsuit season next summer!!!

Warm thoughts,

-C
