6/24/13 First Dietary Appointment

Went to my first official dietary appointment on 6/24/13. Also, they gave me a pullory (sp?) test to see if I have the issues that cause ulcers. Never had any indication of ulsers. So far I have gotten a stress test, provided blood work and gotten clearance for surgery from my cardiologist. I now have to have a upper GI and sonogram for my gull bladder. I believe I need this for the doctor to determine if my old lap band must be removed before WLS or can be done at the same time.
Anyway, I see the dietician again on 7/24 and have a meeting one on one with the surgeon. Pretty slow going. I am hoping I can move up the current appointment with the psychologist scheduled in late August. Am trying to adhere to the dieticians instructions, so far doing pretty good. Traveling from Cincinnati to Columbus and back hasn't been so bad. They are trying to combine my appointments to cut down on trips. Hanging in there......
