Tuesday was my big day and luckily it went well. I had some pain as expected but they controlled it very well...I was discharged Wednesday and I was glad to be home. It was a lil painful to drink but its getting better...im looking forward to when im completely healed!! Body and tunmy area is still pretty sore but much better.

Can't believe next Tuesday I will be having surgery! I don't feel nervous yet...but I am anxious. I am ready to start this new part of my life!! My to do list after some weight loss is sure to keep me busy!!

So yesterday I had my pre op meeting. I saw the surgeon, the head nurse and the nutritionist. Got a folder with all the good info I will need after surgery. I weighed in at 288 my last weigh in i was 291 so i'm happy about that. 

July 8th I have to be at the hospital at 530 am...surgery should take 45-100(the actual surgery). I am ready and excited about this new phase I will be starting. 

Today I got the call I had been waiting for. Insurance gave approval and surgery is scheduled for July 8th. My pre-op visit is scheduled for June 25th! It's so real now.

I got the following from the insurance coordinator with my surgeon

"I received the clearance and will submit the request for surgery at the beginning of next week. The authorization process takes approximately 7-14 business days to complete."

I must admit..i'm getting nervous
