I have been overweight since I was 12. For many years I have tried almost every diet out there. I had success once and lost 100 lbs. over a 2 1/2 year period. Then I got pregrnant, with my miracle baby, and didn't know how to eat anymore and gained 70 of those lbs. back. In the end, I gained all but 2 lbs back before I decided to have surgery.
April 30, 2012 marks the day I started my new life. I had the gastric sleeve done and am well on my way to recovery. While I have been a little sore and weak, I am very much looking forward to my new life style.
I have a 5 year old daughter that starts kindergarten this year and cannot wait to be able to do the things a mother should be able to do with her children.
