Surgery 7/28/14 went well but took a long time 3.5 hrs due to scar tissue from previous surgery. I feel tired, no hungry and so have some aches and pains. Thank God for painkillers and anti-nausea meds. I was able to drink 6 fuzzy nectar drink, a couple of bottles of water and two sf pudding cups. Still not sure how fast to drink so doing everything slowly. The walking around my apartment does help The worst parts are breathing in deeply, injections into my stomach and emptying my drain. Overall surprised at my will to move forward. My next Drs visit is next Friday to remove drain. I do not have a scale so can weigh then.
Thank you to all my supporters, friend, family but mostly to my daughter and granddaughter who encourage me to sip sip sip and walk walk walk.
