The real issue is that I am a teacher and when I sip water, I ALWAYS have UNCONTROLLABLE NOISY bubbles coming up (sometimes for 5-10 minutes) afterwards.

I am 4 months post surgery (VSG) and still have to choose between protein or water as I can't fit in both. Usually I get about 1/2 of the recommended protein and water suggestion each day.

I just had surgery 8/4/16 so this is all new.  I had occasional reflux before surgery and no problems with it (that I could tell) immediately after surgery and my voice was normal until yesterday (3 days post-op).

Hey there,

I had VSG surgery on 8/4/16 and today had the hiccups.  Almost started up the narco medicine again for it.

Other than that, today was much better as far as energy level and being able to sip liquids with minimal discomfort.</

Feeling absolutely miserable.  Can drink anything with a burning sensation in my chest.

Migraine headache and nausea.

I just want to know when I can expect to start feeling better - so far it's been 2 days of hell.

What do I do?  I took 2 tablespoons (as stated on bottle) at 5:00.

So far nothing....ugh.

Surgery tomorrow at 11 am
