I share this, because when i was in initial stages of pre & post op I couldn't get enough of the success stories to keep me encouraged. Running up & down stairs, prior 1 step @ a time, knees were in bad shape. Fitting into new sizes I haven't seen

Since surgery it has been horrible! I know it's because of low carb diet; I'm 99% protein. I'm neurotic about hygeine, & any type of b.o.-can't stand it in others, & don't know what to do. My very honest daughter tells me that even the strongest mint

My Dr. Only wants me to count whole protein towards my 60-80 grams. Protein shakes, Chicken, meat, beans, nuts... Curious if you do the same, or do you count protein in other food items such as soup (eggdrop soup for example)...

A few people asked me for an update, as they've experienced nausea as well. It did not help taking it with food. Brace yourself for the controversial: dr. does not prescribe vitamin patch, said it's a scam, does not deliver the levels of vitamins need

Per Dr., started taking regular (non - chewable) multi vitamin this past week-I cut in 1/2 because very large. Vomited 2X this week after taking

Started benefiber & miralax with dr.'s ok, but didn't help much, still needed milk of magnesia. Any & all suggestions appreciated. Cant wait to incorporate some fresh veggies!

Did you habe to take omeprazole post-op? If yes, for how long, & how did you take it before being able too swallow a capsule?

I'm 9 days post-op, & able to drink regularly, not guzzling, but way more than sips. Could this cause damage? Is sipping just a practical guideline because that's all you can do in thr first days?

Calling Dr. tomorrow morning. BP & glucose normal, but experiencing sweating, then freezing cold for hours. Anyone else experience these body temp extremes?
