A lifetime of yo-yo weight loss/gain put my metabolism in the basement.  I'm sure many who have had a life long struggle with obesity can understand the feeling of helplessness and at times hopelessness that occurs.  I recall numerous promises I made to myself and failed to keep.  When I first learned about the VSG procedure it was from a former coworker who had it done.  I had hope again.  Due to various circumstances, it took me almost 5 years to get the procedure done myself.  I am now almost 2 weeks post-op and eager to live life to its fullest and reach my goal.
