3 Weeks Post-Op

I went back to work part-time last week (8 hours) and I'm back again this week. I'm hoping to be here for a full 8 hours in the day by week's end. It feels great because it feels normal! It's tiring though. NSV, I'm fitting into clothes that I haven't worn in a while. I'm down 31 lbs from day-before-surgery weigh-in and about 40 lbs from my highest weigh-in at the doctor. Needless to say, I'm beyond stoked!

My surgery is tomorrow and I'm a ball of mixed emotions. I'm excited, nervous, scared... I just can't hardly believe that this is happening. It's very surreal to think that I'm on my way to getting my life back, to feeling like me again, because it's been what seems like forever. I only wish I had done this sooner. This opens the door for so many possibilities and that excites me! I look forward to taking my dogs for a walk without thinking about at what point in the walk will I not be able to walk anymore, will I be able to make it back, etc. My dogs have no idea what's in store for them!
So this time tomorrow, it's going down! Yay!!!
