I have had people ask me if I was in much pain when they view my pics. Actually, other than the first 3 or 4 days in the hosp. the pain has been almost non-exsitant. I was kept knocked out and intabated for all 3 surgeries, so all I know about them is what I have been told. I do know that I had a really BAD reaction to my morphine and was no longer allowed to have any pain , meds except for Loritabs ground up and put in a liquid that ended up tasting like an old time-y cough med, Black Draught, NASTY stuff!! I was real glad when my throat healed enough from the intabation to take the pill form!!! My voice has just this week returned to almost normal. It was a strain to talk at first and it seemed like it would never get better, but it has in just the past 2 days!!
I am rally displeased with my surgery!! I don/t think at this point that I will every be anywhere near normal, much less sexy and all I wanted from this surgery was to have that panni removed, that was all and I wouldnt mind a reasonable scar, but it is gonna be huge and there are puckers and pulls that make me look un=human in the nude!! But I do look pretty good in clothes!! I just havent taken any after surgery pics yet, because I havent gone shopping and everything I own is too big!! I am trying to wait until the swelling goes down more and I am NOT bulging with the bandages before I go shopping!!

At 13 months out, I am now down to 166.5 lbs. I only have 20.5 lbs to reach my goal!! I am still swollen from the PS 5 weeks ago, but the open places are starting to show some signs of healing. I still don't like the looks of things but they keep telling me it WILL get better. I added a few more pics on my profile, it still ain't very pretty!!!

I had my Circum. adomoplasty at 10 am on 1-12-07, had a hematoma and bleeder fixed much later in the evening, surgery #2. Still had my belly button up till Sunday, when I was rushed back into surgery #3, because of excessive bleeding. I had to have several pints of blood to get me thru!!, but when the PS had to take it ALL back down to redo it and find all the bleeders, he had to draw the skin tighter than he had planned, and in having to create fresh edges of skin so that it would heal better, the BB had to go!!!
I was kept intabated and knocked out from Friday morning around 10 untill Tuesday arternoon, 4 days under!!! Then when they deceided to wake me up, I had the breathing tube removed, but I fell asleep in about half an hour from that time and they could NOT wake me up. It was a real rough go, but right now I have a BIG regret in doing PS!!
I hope it is just mostly depression making me feel this way but if you look at my pictures on my profile for 2 weeks out from surgery, you will get an idea of what has me a bit upset!!
It wasn't bad enough that I had to have 3 surgeries in 3 days and be intabated for 4 and 1/2 days!!! (my throat is still sore and I can hardly talk 3 weeks later!!), but now it looks like my insides are falling out!!! On the front shot in the pictures you can see one of the drain tubes hanging in there. I am hoping they will both come out this WED. The other 2 came out last WED. I can only imagine how I will look or how long it will take to heal!!! I am so afraid I will not even look human!!
