Today is World Aids Day. By respecting and protecting ourselves and others we can stop the spread of HIV and end HIV prejudice. Educate yourself, family and friends on HIV. Know your HIV status: get tested if you have put yourself at risk. Use condoms always. If someone u know has HIV respect them and their status by not telling others without their agreement. Wear a red ribbon to symbolize support and awareness.

P.S. If you are an IV drug user please seek drug rehabilitation to stop the drugs, but if you are not at that point at least be sure to NOT share needles EVER.

I have seen the prejudice and ignorance that is displayed when it comes to this matter and feel very strongly that through education and tolerance that one day there will be no more suffering.
