Our new dog has helped me lose 3 lbs!

Our new dog is a fiesty little Yorkie Mix (unneutered but will be neutered in a few weeks) and he is helping me get off my butt more to take him for walks!
I have lost 3 pounds in 3 days!
I will be meeting with the surgeon in 3 days and am hoping he has a date that is not too far in the future.
I am hoping for a date less than 2 months.
I just found out that the hospital is again experiencing a superbug problem
Last year at this time (Feb/Mar) this problem plagued the surgery dates and affected my progress in the queue!
I hope to have lost 10 lbs (from 250 to 240) before I start the Optifast liquid pre-surgery diet.
I could potentially lose 20 lbs (in Ontario, mandatory on this diet for 3 weeks previous to surgery)
I could be down to a svelte 220 at surgery!
The better in shape I am before surgery, the better I bounce back.
I have a whole world of living to do!
