Can someone please remind me what the formula is for percentage lost.

I will give you my stats: HW - 225

CW - 217

I am 5'1 ... so I picked a goal weight of 130 ( high end of my BMI is 132). Therefore, my excess weight is 95 lbs.

Okay, High weight 225 to goal weight of 132 (25% BMI), so a total of 93 lbs to lose from high weight.

Current weight 217 so you have lost 8 lbs.

8/93 = .08 (not quite 10% of your excess)

That will help you see where you need to be.

Thanks ladies, I knew there was a post somewhere ... but I was on my phone and couldn't do a search and I was anxious to figure it out!!!

I was pretty sure it was what Liz had said, I just wanted the confirmation before I was doing something wrong.

I am still on my liquid diet, since my surgery is a week from today ... so happy with the results thus far!
