Good morning, all! I slept miserably last night due to an allergic reaction to adhesive causing an itch I could NOT ignore. But I woke up and went to my MFR class anyway - go me! There was a sub who does a slightly different version of MFR called the Melt Method, so I'll now have "I'll Stop the World and Melt with You" stuck in my head all day.

I've got big plans for the day now that I'm home. I need to proof and submit my FINAL HMGT assignment today, since I finished it yesterday and try to do my proof and submit with a fresh brain on a different day. I'm also baking cookies for Lance's work party, which is Monday. I'm planning on baking a few batches to create extra cookies to take to our winter vacation and maybe to gaming with friends tomorrow. That'll be exciting! I'm not creative enough to stamp them, but I do have some colored sugars and some chocolate for melting/drizzling, so we'll see how that goes.

Then, this evening, we're driving into THE CITY to see The Quake at some random theater downtown. It's super rare for Norwegian movies to come around so I'm willing to suffer through the 3+ hours of total travel time to appease Lance.

QOTD: Are you a procrastinator or... whatever the opposite of a procrastinator is? I shall call this a proactivator! Procrastinator or practivator? If it's different for different types of things, tell us about that. (I'll reply in a comment.)

1: protein shake
2: probably eggs, and a cookie
3: due to the movie timing, we need to eat out and there aren't a lot of options that have food we can easily smuggle into the theater. I'm thinking I'll get a Mediterranean salad from Potbelly, light on the lettuce.

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: MFR class that was actually a Melt class

How about you?

Congratulations on getting to your final assignment. We are going to a Christmas dinner/dance tonight, then will be winding down here in Florida in preparation for our return to Massachusetts for the holidays.

QOTD: I procrastinate on some things for a long time until I put them on a list. Once something is on a list I have a compulsion to check it off (LOL)!

Good morning! The Quake looks like it will be an exciting action movie, better yet set in Oslo! Have fun, hope it is worth the 3 hours Gwen:-) Congratulations on your final assignment!

It's a beautiful day today, we are having unusually warm weather for this time of year. 40's all week long! I did a really hard uphill hike yesterday. Almost made it to the top, I will get there next time! Emmy was exhausted and didn't even care that I left without her last night:-)

Well it's Friday, so that means taking mom to the casino. I won at Bunko on Wednesday, so I will take half of those winnings to play a little tonight. I am hoping this is the last Friday and the weather will be an excuse not to go for a few months.

QOTD-Like Liz I procrastinate until I put it on the list, then it usually gets done. I procrastinate the worst when it comes to phone calls. I will put if off until I absolutely can't anymore.

B-1/3 cup granola, bullet coffee

L-Greek yogurt with peaches and pecans

S-Hot tea

D-tbd(probably inside of a sub from Subway)

E-Short hike with Emmy

I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful Friday!

Up at 4 am; finished making a gingerbread house (I was bored and needed something quiet to do). Husband spent 5 hours prepping his chili for our family Christmas gathering next Saturday.

QOTD: Are you a procrastinator or... whatever the opposite of a procrastinator is? I shall call this a proactivator! Procrastinator or practivator? If it's different for different types of things, tell us about that. Practivator. I had all my Christmas stuff done and wrapped by June (in my defense, I sew, crochet and craft...) I am always ready 15 minutes early, although try not to arrive so as to disrupt people. I've NEVER missed a deadline. A lot of people with anxiety disorder are OCD, and it give me the illusion of being in charge of my life.

  1. Chobani key lime yogurt
  2. Protein shake
  3. Carolina barbecue chicken (homemade)
  4. 1 dark chocolate peppermint bark
  5. Ham & Cheese
  6. Snack - probably yogurt

QOTD: I did not delay my answer to this one as an object lesson, I swear. But I guess this is a good example of my procrastination/proactivation tendencies. I tend to either do things RIGHT NOW or.... later. This is especially apparent for emails. If I don't reply to an email immediately it might take a month (or many months) for me to get to it.

I like to feel on top of things, so that tends to put me on the proactivation side of the equation. This has been a never-ending frustration with college for me (at my current college) because I feel like I'm never able to get ahead with these 8 week terms, at least not if I want to maintain my quality of life. If I'm not ahead, I feel like I'm behind, so it's this constant source of stress for me. Not a great way to go through life.

I'm looking forward to finishing my current degree and getting a job that has constrained hours.
