6 years?! WOW time sure does fly!! I was doing my yearly update on FB and I remembered I need to post here because in the beginning stages I loved reading about everyone who was 5+ years out and their success stories it always gave me hope :) This surgery is still the best decision I ever made for myself. I don't obsess anymore about what I am eating and how much, I don't count calories or withhold myself from eating certain things. I eat way more than I did 6 years ago but I still get full fast if I eat Breads, Rice, Noodles. I've roughly been 145-150 for the past 3 years or so. the smallest I had gotten was 127 and I looked like I was dying lol.. If you're on the fence about doing the surgery I say DO IT! If your still in the beginnings stages of post op just hang in there its so worth it in the end.

Pre Op: 254 lbs

Post Op 148 LBS

At first I thought your pre-op photo was your final photo -- you're one pretty gal at any weight.

But your last photos are in model-territory! I bet your kids are still over the moon with their "new" healthier mom.

Thank you so much, I he's my weight pretty well but I was having so many complications and pain I was considered obese for my height. My daughter definitely loves me small and active.

Looking mighty fine, you must feel fantastic!

I'm still at the start of my journey and surgery still seems a long way off (no date as yet). Posts like this help us newbies along the way :)
