Hello All!  I just wanted to share a NSV.  This past week I attended a week long convocation and wore suits each evening.  Well before the convocation started, I knew I needed to try on some clothes (which in times past was stressful and depressing because usually they would end up being too tight). Before surgery I wore a 22/24.  I decided to try on suits that I had not worn in 3-4 years which were size 18!!! They ALL fit and LOOSELY at that!!!  I almost cried.  I still have a loooong way to go but I guess I am going to have to buy new clothes quicker than I anticipated...Can you tell how sad I am about that... j/k!

Outstanding!!!! I'm in the same  boat.....I've been "shopping" in my closet and there are so many things that are huge on me now that I couldn't wear a few months ago....and the "give away" pile keeps growing bigger and bigger....and soon there will be lots of room in the closet for new stuff....but I'm only going to buy slowly so that I don't have to keep putting things on a new pile.

Great job!! Doing a happy dance for you!

Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them but you always know they're there.

I hung on to so many clothes that had been too small, thinking they still wouldn't fit. By the time I tried many of them on they were too big and I missed out on wearing them. So I started trying them on even when I thought they would still be too small, most of the time they already fit.

That is true.  I was so nervous to try them on but was very pleased with the result!

fantastic NSV! I also have quite a few items in my closet in smaller sizes from years ago so I haven't really had to buy much yet (but I did treat myself to two new outfits for my vacation in two weeks). Twice now I've pulled out one of the smaller items to try on but expecting it to still be too tight only to find out it was already too big! I really need to take some time one evening this week and try everything on to see where I'm at!

It really does make you feel good to try something on that you think is going to be too small but it ends up being too BIG!

Yeah, that's an awesome feeling! Congrats!!!

I can remember trying on my first "normal" size pair of jeans. I got emotional in the dressing room because they fit! That was a landmark day, believe me!
