I don't know about you, but I LOVE round numbers, especially BIG round numbers. So when I weighed in at 181.8, I whooped with joy!

Today I ran 5.5 miles like it was nothing (well, not quite, but I felt like I could have done even more!). I am able to do so much more than I ever dreamed. When I started this process, I would have been happy to get to 220 or 200, but my weight loss hasn't stopped. My habits haven't really changed. I still eat 2-3 oz of protein, then some vegetables. I don't skimp on fat. I do eat 85% cacao dark chocolate sometimes, one square a day. I feel like an experiment of one when it comes to low carb fitness. I'm going to run/walk a half marathon and we'll see how I do!

The hard part is the mental toughness required. And avoiding self pity. Sometimes I feel my resolve wavering, when I think "God, I have to do this for the rest of my life." So instead, I try to focus on the good stuff as much as possible (although I have thrown a few pity parties here and elsewhere, for sure...). I get to run, I get to travel, I get to wear cute clothes, and I really do get to eat delicious food. My life is really great.

Also, just by eating what I eat, my husband has lost 90lbs! So between us, that's 440lbs lost! (whoops, math! More like 340lbs...)
