2 days post op
Just got released after my VSG Monday.
Had lots of trouble with gas build up. Much improved today however.
Much more pain than the incisions.caused.
Just started on liquid foods. Was on water only.
not hungery, a good sign I hope?
Male 55, Initial weight 388#, and 6'1" / surgery weight 360#/Current Weight is 296#
Congrats on your surgery fellow Canadian! I'm 4 days ahead of you...gas issues will be gone in a couple of days. Not hungry myself...maybe just a bit
bored with food...have to force myself to eat! Only thing bothering me to any extent is the one larger incision..it really pulls...coughing is NOT FUN!
Weight is steadily falling off even this early out..yeah!
Hi! , I am 10 days out...Best way to get rid of the gas pain is walk, walk, walk! I still get some if I drink to quick. the one incision still pullswhen I get up from bed or sitting . But, that's it! ONly head hunger, no actual hunger. Everyday I get onthe scale and it moves! Welcome to Sleeve world!

3 days post op and feeling way better today than yesterday. I am trying to walk as much as possible, It does help. Sleeping comfortably is still a bit of an issue. Drugs help I found out last night. Was resisting talking the narcotics until last night. took some Oxi and slept like a baby. amazing feeling today!
