Is a scrambled egg considered pureed?  And if so, is 1 egg 4 oz?  I am off to buy a scale and a blender tomorrow but if I can have a scrambled egg first it might be awesome!  Thanks!

Scrambled eggs are really hard for a lot of people.  My NUT said this is because a lot of us make them too dry - so either cook them until they're still wet or add a cheese like laughing cow.

Hey Deb

My surgeon put me on sorts last week. No mention of purée and that was 6 weeks post-op. I buy egg beater. Three tbsp is one egg. I scramble. It fills me up. Sometimes I put shredded Parmesan in it---1 tbsp. So that is 45 calories, .5 g carb, and like 7 g  protein. Plus it is so good. This morning I added some mushrooms.

I started puree this week (2 weeks Post-Op), and unfortunately I did not at all like the texture, so I asked my NUT if I could have a scrambled egg. She said No, that is a soft food, and I have to do the puree stage first. :-(
