I was told by my Doctor to take Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D. Does anyone know if they come in chewable? What is everyone else taking?

They do come in chewables - I know Bariatric Advantage has some different flavors.

I'm planning to take Upcal D http://www.amazon.com/Global-Health-Upcal-D-packets/dp/B000SONA14.  It's supposed to be a flavorless powder that can be mixed with food and/or beverages.

I take Bariatric Advantage peanut butter chocolate which is 500mg per chew, so I only need three a day.  I think they're yummy.  I take vitamin D separately.

I'm really sensitive to sugar alcohols, and almost all of the chewable calcium citrate supplements are made with sugar alcohols or just plain old sugar. Barium Advantage has sugar alcohol free chewables. They are less popular than the chewy bites because the texture is ... weird. Kinda dusty. Like a giant Necco wafer! I actually really like them but yeah... You have to let them dissolve in your mouth or you'll inhale a mouthful of calcium dust.

they are large.  but even 4.5 weeks post.. i am not having any issues getting or keeping them down.. i do not take both at once... i space it out over a couple of hours.

Thanks everyone for your replies, I'm a little worried about large pills and a smaller stomach. I'm going to check with my doctors office, I think they sell vitamins.

Your post just reminded me to take mine! I take two a day & I take Caltrate with vitamen D. You can get it at drugstores. I see my NUT today and I'm going to see if I can switch to pills that I can swallow. I'm way over the chewables.
