I miss bread :-(
Your cookie comment made me chuckle because that is ME! One of the ladies at work took me aside today to prepare me for the fact that our resident baker is doing her holiday bake days on December 13 & 14 and will be bringing in a tray of my FAVORITE cookies EVER on the 15th. Sweet of her to help me prepare, don't you think? But it also tells you how deep my cookie problem is when a co-worker warns me almost two weeks in advance of the impending cookie arrival!
This is 1000000000000% me

I am a year out and I still can't tolerate much bread, pasta or rice. I always loved them, but now anything bready sits like a lump in my sleeve and makes me feel awful. So in theory I miss bread, but in reality I almost never try to eat it anymore, just a bite here and there.
On the other hand, I've lost 84 pounds and I look and feel great. That's better than bread.
Yes, there are days when I just miss bread. I know it is mental game, if I keep thinking about it, it get worse, if I force myself to think of something else after a few minutes the feeling is gone. I also missed cake this past weekend but again forced myself to think of something else and had some coffee ( which I do not usually drink) to feel like I was having dessert too.
Bread was an issue for me longer than anything else. It sat like a lead balloon, so I didn't miss it much.
