So had my sleeve done on the 23rd. I'm down 17lbs since. But the past week the scale hasn't moved what-so-ever. Is this normal? I'm on pureed phase till the 20th. I'm just a little down that the scale hasn't moved. Please tell me it will pass.

I think it is normal if you went on a pre-op diet to shrink your liver.  I am also at the 3 week point and the scale is stuck.  Last week I had a follow-up with my NUT and she said this could happen while your liver replenishes it's glycogen stores and there is some water retention.  Otherwise, the math doesn't add up.  I work hard to get in 800 calories - that's all that will fit right now!  So, calories in/energy out should show a deficit, which should equal weight loss.  I'm staying off the scale for a week or so!

I'm with ya on the cal. intake as well. I have to try really hard on that and my fluids. That does make since tho in regards to your liver. Thanks for the reply.

Perfectly normal. Use the search function here for "3 week stall" or "third week stall" or even "dreaded 3 week stall" and you'll see that it happens to almost everyone.

Keep following your plan and the scale will move again -- but be prepared, you will very likely hit more stalls as you progress. Sometimes it helps to weigh a little less frequently, particularly early on.

Thanks, I didn't know. I guess it's pretty common if you can just search it. Ok not so worried now. Thanks for the reply.

I had my sleeve done on the 23rd as well. I lost 20 lbs the first week and I've been stalled since. It's so frustrating!!! I'm like how can I be eating as little as I am and not be losing weight. I feel your pain and am hoping it breaks soon!

Stalls are completely normal.  I think most people lose in stair steps.  You are probably losing inches and the weight will catch up.  My belt is sometimes a bigger indication of weight loss than the scale.

Stalls are your body's way of telling you not to get too cocky.

Yeah. I have def noticed my clothes fitting more loose. And my rings fall off my fingers. All my shoes are big so I guess your right. I gotta try to not focus so much on those numbers. Thanks for your reply.

I just began my stall right at my two week mark and I just put the scale away. I am focusing on things like how easy it is to get up from sitting, how yesterday my sweetie had to safety pin the back of one of my favorite dresses to make it fit around my boobs, and the extra energy I feel!

That's probably smart. I think I'll have my fiancé hide the scale from me. lol
