I am concerned that I haven't got any energy!  I walk my 30 plus minutes a day.  I'm getting my protein in and my water but still I feel like blahhhh........my back hurts because of this big ol belly but that's not new.  But HEY!  I got my staples out today and that's a plus!  So how soon will my energy level return to normal? I teach school and my students keep me on my toes!!

You are lucky, most people here poop out slowly or not at all!

So very sad that this is EXACTLY what I thought this post was about, too! And I was anxious to read. LOL!

Cheryl, I didn't stop needing naps until almost 8 weeks out. Hang in there, it was major surgery, and it will take time for your body, your endurance and energy levels to recover.

I am 3 weeks post op and went back to work after 2 weeks.  Up to that point, I took naps everyday, but did perfectly fine returning to work...no naps needed.

You're 11 days out from major surgery! Go easy on yourself!! I didn't start to feel close tog good until I started purees at 2 weeks and I didn't start to feel really good until 2 weeks after that when I started solid food.

Be kind to yourself! You're still healing and recovering :)
