Hi,

I'd love to reply to your question but I am not sure what you said. Please reread what you wrote and ask it again. If you are more clear I am sure people would love to help. Congrats on your surgery.

I read your profile and sorry for your loss.  It is natural to want to buy foods you think you will need but in reality, you won't need much.  I even looked at buying baby food for the soft food stage.  Thankfully that thought passed quickly.

Some broth, sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello, powerade zero.   If things go well, you will be able to drive pretty quickly as long as you are off the pain killers.

There are only so many clear liquids to drink and powerade zero is a good option.

Also Powerade Zero has sodium and other electrolytes that will help you feel less lethargic as you heal. I still drink it when I feel 'wilty' and it helps to perk me up.

I worked on finding a shake that I liked, but I didn't really stock up on food supplies.

It didn't!  I know some people have that issue, but I'm glad I didn't.
