Diarrhea first week post op

Thank you all of you wonderful people here. This week's been rough and I so appreciate all the comments from those of you who have been through this before. What a wealth of information this place is. I am so grateful. Getting ready to call the doctor about the diarrhea and the swallow ....although both seem to have eased up a little bit of course.... I am one week out today I can tell my insides are healing… Not sonsore anymore and I can lie on my right side, which I have been unable to do comfortably.  It's all good!  Thx u all again!

Definitely mention it to your doctor, but I had terrible diarrhea the week or two after surgery. My doctor had me tested for c-diff, which is a bacterial infection you can pick up in the hospital. Everything tested fine, so I was okay.
