Another NSV!

I am almost four months out now.  Feeling great and down 90 pounds total, 25 were pre-op.  I had bought smaller bra's before I went back to work at three weeks out but recently decided I needed to replace them again.  Today I was able to find something at the non plus size store!!! now I loved the plus size store but it is so nice to go to the mall and walk into any store and find what I need!  I bought new underwear too, mine were a little baggy, lol! I also bought a maxi dress last week and wore it to work.  I have never worn a dress to work before.  While I was a little self conscious at first it was really nice when my co-workers gave me the collective woohoo when I walked into the office!

Woo!  I switched to skirts a few weeks ago and I'm pretty sure I'm never going back to pants.  

One of the things I'm worried about with shopping once I get into straight sizes is that I'll feel very overwhelmed with all the choices.  Right now, I know there's Lane Bryant and that's it.  So my choices are very limited.  But when I can shop anywhere... it seems so overwhelming!!  Where will I shop?!  (Of course, I'm like size 24 now, so I've still got a looooong ways to go.)

Being able to shop anywhere IS overwhelming...trust me.  I've been able to do this for the past six months, and it's been a tough adjustment for me mentally.  It's also been rough on the pocketbook! ;)  I do have a pretty awesome wardrobe now, though.  Once I figure out where I can buy underwear, I'm closing my Lane Bryant account and not looking back. :)

Underwear!  I'm in the second to last size that LB sells, and I ordered 10 pairs of the smallest size they sell today.  It's crazy to think that there will be a day when I can no longer wear LB undies!  

I feel ya...I bought a bunch of their undies in the smallest size they sell, because I'm about there.  Once I get out of that size, I'm befuddled as to where to get undies!  

Congratulations Lisa!  I've bought bra's twice so far too.  Thought when I bought the first one it would last a long time because I got it a little tight.  It lasted a month lol but I kept wearing it until I realized there was no point anymore.  I hope this next set does better.  Meaning I hope my boobs stop shrinking!!!!

Underwear are funny during weight loss I've actually had them slipping down in my jeans until they are a puddle around my thighs.  I prefer cotton but have found a cotton/spandex blend works better with a shrinking body.

Skirts and dresses are the best.  Much more forgiving of weight loss then pants!  I own a bunch of skirts now and don't even need the Glide (to keep your thighs from rubbing) that I bought.

Shopping rocks!

90lbs in 4 months woooooow !!! yea Im with ya on the bra thing unfortunatly if this continues Ill be shopping for a traing bra!!!! why are they the first to go!!! lol.... I to since the day of surgery have not worn anything but a dress or skirt!!!! which i now by at H & M not a big store wooooo hoooo its so much easier ... except for my yoga pant to exercise in.....
