Post your grocery haul pictures!
This is kind of fun. I see some videos of people grocery hauls, usually not WLS individuals. I will probably do some grocery shopping this weekend and I will come back and add my pictures. If you have one, or do some shopping take a snapshot and upload it. Let's see how similar we are since surely SOME things in our diets are the same right? Have a good weekend!
My grocery store trips are super boring these days since a) I buy meat in bulk from a local farm and b) it's market season so I get most of my veg at the market. My grocery trips are mainly cases of water, almond milk, and dairy.

I'd love to see pics of a) and b) Fresh, whole, and local food is always so much better! My sister-in-law raises both laying and meat chickens. I am anxiously awaiting some fresh chicken this weekend. I really don't trust meat from big chain stores of any kind.
I used to take pictures of all of the local foods I bought, but I sort of fell out of the habit of blogging in 2013 so I don't have anything super current, but you're welcome to peruse my old local food posts!

I buy frozen fish and chicken breasts at the grocery store, but I get cow, lamb, pig, and whole chickens locally. I also get eggs locally and as much veg as I can. (Although I used to spend about $40/week at the farmers market pre-op and now I'm spending closer to $20. I just don't have room for veg!)

No pics but I hit up the protein shake isle first & get some Atkins cafe caramel shakes & body fortress whey vanilla protein powder if I'm out-I shop & Wal-mart & Aldi...foods/snacks for me last trip; salmon, flounder, canned tuna in water, canned ham, salad fixins lettuce, tomatoes, light dressing, real bacon pieces, quaker popped mini rice cakes, light 100 calorie per serving vanilla cold coffee drink from freezer section; I splurge on drinking a cup at a time of this maybe 2-3x per week, 1% milk, turkey bacon, eggs, canned veggies lot of beans, bananas, cases of spring water; then my skinny family buys things they want as I am still mostly cooking differently for them; they are spoiled. I thankfully have no desire for any of their foods but we no longer buy chips, snack cakes or other junk foods.
I hope somebody posts some haul pics or somebody that clips coupons I'm always amazed at some folks savings. Shopping at Aldi sure helps us but some things I buy aren't sold there.

I've had raw veggies & fruit in my homemade nutribullet smoothie, no problems so far. I'm 4 weeks post-op.

Insert photo of local farm raised pig, beef and chicken, as well as flax milk, egg whites and tons of whatever is fresh and in season veggie wise. Maybe I'll go to the Davis Farmer's Market Saturday. Its huge and would be great for photos to share and I love going there. Thanks for giving me a good idea for my otherwise quiet weekend.
