The best thing I had on puree was homemade meatloaf. I made my usual recipe then weighed out my portion and put it in the blender. I added a little ho****er...not to much remember you can always add more. It was delicious! Check out the world according to eggface. She has some good ideas.

Taco meat pureed with cheese melted on top..

Meat balls pureed with sauce and parm cheese

Grilled chicken or turkey purred with parm cheese

( can you tell I like parm cheese)

Tilapia  is with olive oil and 1/2 a lemon and some dill

Tuna fish with a touch of mayo or lemon juice

Best of luck...

Check out Shelley's Baked Ricotta. To die for. I HATED PUREED stage. This Baked Ricotta and pureed Turkey Chili were about all I could deal with. Some things just don't taste right pureed - but I have major texture issues!

I stayed mostly with full fluids having my protein soups (cream of chicken and cream of tomato) maybe a bit of cottage cheese or finely flaked albacore tuna....I have yet to try the baked ricotta but everyone I know that has had it, loved it.

I agree..the pureed stage was heinous. I extended the full fluids and kind of bypassed the pureed stage for the most part.

ditto on the world according to egg face.  I would make the baked ricotta cut into serving and freeze.  I also cooked the taco meat and put in small containers to freeze.  Chile too!

Also try things like thicker soups that can be easily pureed. Amy's has been a brand I've been enjoying in the regular liquid phase, and I can't wait to have some of the lentil soups pureed.
