The dreaded topic of a stall....vets help, please....

I am seeking any suggestions.... I am 8 months post op, down 140 lbs and have been stalled for 8 weeks! I am getting super frustrated!? I have started running again, which I thought for sure would re-start my weight loss, but it has not. I am 8 measly pounds away from onderland (which is killing me to be so close) and can't seem to break this stall. My usual stats are 60-80g's of protein, under 40 carbs, and 600-800 cals. I even increased my water consumption, but still nothing.

I tried to wait to post this in hopes of just sticking with it, and allowing it to work itself out, but I need to get this weight loss going again so I can get to my goal.

Please vets, help a sister out!

:)

I would consider upping your protein to a minimum of 80 grams and see if that helps. You are also building muscle so it might take a little longer to start losing pounds again. Keep doing what you are doing. Are your measurements changing at all?

Highest Weight: 285 SW: 264.6 CW:163.1   Surgeon's GW: 189  PCP's GW: 165-170

Keep doing what you are doing. Increase your protein to 100 or more grams and keep your calories under 800.  I bet your stall will break now that you posted about it.  :)  Best of luck to you.

Leave your calories the same, but rearrange them so you're getting between 80 & 100 grams of protein per day. That should do the trick.
