Ice cream pusher
She is either clueless or mean. Does she know you had surgery? If not, tell her. If she knows and keeps doing this I'd ask her why she is trying to sabotage your health. And tell her next time she mentions ice cream you are going to take it for the insult it is and just walk away.
Or offer her an arsenic sandwich;)
A lot of people are under the common misconception that WLS means "Eating less = Weight loss" regardless of nutritional content. I doubt that she is being malicious and trying to sabotage you. She just doesn't understand how the process works and thought that she was being polite in offering you the ice cream. Next time, just smile and say, "No thanks."

I would start giving very explicit details to the onslaught of cramps, gas, farts, and s**t storm graphics if you were to eat that...oh...and then say you have a pic of one such event after eating some ice cream and it stunk so bad you threw up too and ask if he/she wants to see it because it's 'so freakin' gross'!....
hee hee
Sometime in situations like that, where someone does not want to take no for an answer, I say something like "I have been working really hard to lose weight and get healthy. Why are you trying to sabotage me? Why don't you want me to get healthy?" They never want to answer that question, but they usually stop pushing the food.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
