Stalled 5 wks post op!
I am completely freaked out and scared about being stalled after only 5.5 weeks post-op. I am getting 85-100g protein daily and am meeting 64z plus fluids. My carbs are well below 50g and I'm not tracking fat. I know we're all different, but I don't understand why this has happened and why it has lasted for 1.5 weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions or am I just being a boob?

Up your water and stay the course. You're completely normal.

You're being a boob. :)
But on a serious note, everybody stalls. Heck, I stalled a little at 1.5 weeks out. You may notice I haven't posted about it. Stalls happen. Just remember to drink your water and watch those carbs. Protein intake really does affect your weight loss, so kudos to you on keeping up with that!
I don't freak out over fat either, but I try to make sure all the fat I'm getting is GOOD fat. I'm diligent to the point where I make my own mayonnaise with healthy oils. Just make sure you don't get so much fat in your diet that you blow your calories out of the water!
A stall at this point is normal. My first stall lasted about 3 wks and I was doing EVERYTHING right!! Your body has been through a lot and it just needs to "re-adjust" to life on such a dramatic reduction in calories. Also, I'm assuming you're introducing more solids about now too?? It WILL pass!

You're a boob.
Your body is adjusting to surgery, change in diet and calorie intake, etc. It happened to me around week 4 when I started eating "normal food." And I was doing everything according to the book.
Wait it out. Stay on track and do what you should be doing. Drink lots of fluids, exercise and realize that this too shall pass.

Thanks you guys - I thought I was probably being a boob, but it's nice to have that reinforced I'm feeling better because of all the responses and I finally got my head out of my butt ... thought about it logically and gave myself a mental shake for being so dramatic!
