Please calm my worst fear!
Happy Thursday! I saw the surgeon today and will likely be on the books for March 5! Woo hoo!
My worst fear about this surgery is to end up having indefinite nausea and dizziness. I absolutely hate that first trimester of pregnancy feeling. If it is for awhile, I can handle it, but I don't want to live feeling icky for years! My surgeon obviously said he can't predict how everyone will react.
Thanks for your responses!

I was queasy for the first day or two, mostly because I hurt so much and opiate pain meds don't do squat for me. (I ended up doing the whole recovery on advil because I'm "special," apparently, go figure!) Once I got home, got some fluids in me, and got some rest, I was just fine. I felt kind of weak and tired for a few weeks, but no nausea or dizzyness.

I just got sleeved on 2/4. The nausea wasn't that bad. I pit an anti nausea patch behind my ear and took a powerful anti nausea med, both 3 hours before my surgery and both prescribed by my doc. The pill is used mainly for chemo patients to control nausea and lasts about a week. I had mild nausea first day out and now I dont have it at all.I thought it would be much worse but it's not that bad. Good luck!
