Checking In

Hi all

Havent been around much,  it just thought I'd check in.

I'm now 15 months post-op and at my lowest weight since I was about 12 years old.  I've lost 86.5kgs/190lbs and now weight 82.9kgs/182lbs.  I'm 6'1 tall.

I've been maintaining now within my target (83-85kgs) for the past 4 months).  I'm actually slightly under my range at the moment, so indulged in a couple of sweet things with Christmas dinner yesterday as I really don't want to lose more weight.  For me, girls should have curves!

I have a BMI of 24, down from 51 and have lost over 100% EWL.

It still amazes me that I weigh less than I have lost.  It's so crazy great!  Best money I ever spent and would do it again in a heartbeat (although 10 years earlier!)

Getting back into the dating game has been interesting.  My non-perfect body has been an issue for a couple of guys, but screw them I say!!..lol.  I am incredibly lucky with how my body has responded.  While a tummy tuck and bat wing removal would be great, I'm not really considering anything at the moment.  Frankly, those surgeries scare the **** out of me and I really do like my new body, wrinkly bits and all!!

I can't load pics from my iPad, but have uploaded a couple of new pics.  One from yesterday with me decorating the Christmas table....never would have done that 190lbs ago.  Would have been scared the table wouldn't hold me!  And my latest unflattering gym gear B&A taken this morning.

Hope all of you are going well and have a great Christmas season.

Sus

Oh, girrrrrllllll, you look cute!
The table photo caught me by surprise till I remembered that Christmas falls mid-summer there...Very sassy photo! :-0

BTW, I adore the B&A photo of you in the cute dress with leggings on. And, I think you resemble Lily Allen in the pink apron photo!

Thanks!

The apron was a birthday pressie from a couple of weeks ago.  I was nice to open it and not have that instant thought that the old me would have had......"oh god, are the ties even going to be long enough to go around me!?"

It's so great being normal size! :)

You look awesome!  Congratulations on your transformation...you and I began at roughly the same weight, and my goal is the same as yours but I am a great deal shorter than you, haha! :)

I hope you had a Merry Christmas!

I bet you $50 you change your goal number.  I did 3 times!

My first goal (and my surgeons) was 100kg/220lb, then I reset to 90kgs/200lbs, then I finally settled on 85kgs as a good ongoing weight.  It's the top end of a healthy range and I still feel girly and curvy. :)
