What in the hell is this?? lol I'm day 4 post op and it is the most awful feeling to have this turning feeling that is also painful! I know most of my stomach is gone so is my lil banana shape tummy that's left doing summersaults?? Please advise this is crazy and painful especially after sipping liquids argh typically followed by burping which I don't mind!!

It happens to me when I push too much liquid or when I forget to take my protonix

I was sent home with prilosec but i'm barely sipping my room tempeture water or crystal lite so this feels like a muscle spasm or something. It was a little better today though.

I only got in 22 oz yesterday and any type of pill sticks.  I had to get liquid Tylenol.  My dr. gave me the protonix that wasn't delayed release so I could open the capsule and put it in my Crystal light.  The feeling was really bad for me last night and I had to sleep sitting up.  Glad you are feeling a bit better!  Hopefully this feeling will get better as the weeks go on

I don't know if this will help, but early out different temperatures (in liquids especially) can make the sleeve flip out a bit. If you're drinking cold water, try room temp orbslightly warm (I wouldn't do hot unless warm feels ok. Baby steps ;) ). Is it sort of a tightening feeling? You may be having spasms. Did your doctor send you home with something for spasms? If not, I'd definitely call and describe your symptoms and maybe they can call something in for you. Don't be uncomfortable if you don't have to be!! I wouldn't have survived that first 4-6 weeks without my Levsin! Good luck, hon. Welcome to the Bench!

I was also sleeved on Monday and get the same feeling. It feels like something is in there flipping around. I have found that the warmer fluids go down better and I feel better when I take gas medicine. Good luck this should pass
