OT - All Dressed Up...
Seriously! I was at a wedding 2 weekends ago and sat across from a window at dinner. Since it was dark outside, it was basically a mirror. I must have looked like I was in SUCH a daze because I just KEPT staring at myself! It was the first time I'd really "dressed up" since surgery :)

I haven't seen my surgeon since surgery and won't again until 1 year out. HOWEVER, I do find myself ALWAYS doing my hair, putting on makeup, and getting dressed nicely to go to work - or out of the house at all haha... even on the weekends when I'm just hanging around inside I will put on "clothes" and not lounge in sweatpants!
I've already started thinking about what I"m going to wear to support group on Wednesday, so I TOTALLY get it! haha

Yeah... As I type this at 9:15 at night, I'm still in my black skinny jeans, nice GAP top, and pashmina scarf that I wore out shopping today. I find myself planning outfits in advance too! I am going to a Christmas party in TWO WEEKS and I'm already deciding what to wear!

I giggled at your post. Only because I've been averaging seeing my surgeon every 2 weeks due to all my complications. Last time, I told him that as much a I loved him -- it was time for us to take a break. By golly, I think he's got it this last time around. I've been able to eat a cup of food 5-6x a day. It's sitting well and staying down w/o any nausea. So, I'm finally tickled pink.
But, yes, I want him to see all my progress. I have another 2 wk f/up w/ him in a few days and I want to do the same thing -- just to show him that I actually have energy to put on make up! I've lost 60 lbs since my pre-surgery weight. On the other hand, you can't say I'm a failure to thrive case. LOL. Have a great day!
Goodness! I'm glad you're getting everything straightened out! I'd be telling my surgeon that we needed to take a break too! I hope things continue to look up for you!
