NSV? You tell me!
I work from home most of the time - summers in Minnesota and winters in Texas. Today I'm still in Minnesota. Today is day 1 of week three of a beginning running plan that Keith posted a while ago. It is chilly (52 for a high), windy (19 mph), no sun, and rain in the forecast for the next 3 days. I'm not an early morning runner except when it gets hot outside, and normally go during my lunch hour. Today I had conference calls scheduled through lunch up until 3, when the rain was supposed to be in full force. So when one of my calls ended 30 minutes early, I put my FitBit and heart rate monitor on, adjusted my bright red terrycloth sweatband, grabbed my phone...and guess who forgot to charge her phone overnight? I use Endomondo to track my workouts, so I was beside myself!
And then I put my big girl panties on, took my heart rate monitor off, put my old fashioned watch on, and went anyway. Even 2 week ago one obstacle would have me saying "screw it, I'll go tomorrow". Thank you to Keith for posting a running plan that works for even me, even on the bad days!
I am not sure which schedule you are referring, but here is a link to the Couch25k program. Even if you do not have any ambition for running a 5k, this is a great way to start running. If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch there is an App that is really good as it provides you with audio prompts for when to walk and run. Its very good.

If you want a nice easy High Intensity Interval run, here is what I do a couple of times a week:
5 minute walking warm up, then repeat the following 3 times:
30 second sprint
3 minute run
30 second sprint
1 minute walk
That one will make you sweat...A LOT!
GO, GIRL!!!!! So proud of you!
My goodness, do I love the image in your OP. I catch myself using that phrase perhaps a tad more often than I should. :)
