My first NSV - Blood Pressure!
For the last 5+ years my blood pressure has been on the extreme end of the "normal" range and even into the pre-hypertention range. Right after surgery, I was reading at 120/70. At my 2-week check-up on Wednesday, I was 122/73 - so it wasn't a fluke! I'm shocked. I used to be in the 130's over 80's. I run the numbers at home also and they are the same. I'm shoked that this surgery alone did this for me. Is this normal?
Heather - Austin, TX
Oh Heather, I hope this happens after MY surgery! My blood pressure has been in the 130s/80s since I had my youngest almost five years ago. And that's on medication! With the last 30lb gain my blood pressure shot up higher and now I'm on TWO meds. This makes me so sad. I'm so anxious to have this surgery, lose some weight, and get my blood pressure back to normal without the meds. Or at least decrease meds to just one mild one. We shall see. Congrats to you for those great results! I look forward to seeing how things go for you! :)
