Hi!  I don't have a date yet, my appointment with my surgeon is not until Sept. 4th. But I am 5 months through my WL trial and starting to get nervous/excited. Hoping to have surgery before the new year. :D

I have surgery on Aug, 21 so I'll be rooting for you. From what I've been able to read/glean on the different boards we have made the best decision as far as surgery goes. I understand your nervousness but no worries....you are making a decision for your future. Cheers!!!

Hello, and welcome!! Congrats on choosing your new journey! I am on day one of the preop diet and have surgery on Aug 12th. This site is great with helping you learn so much about the WLS. It is a great place to get advice from people who have been through the exact same thing. I look forward to hearing more from you as you progress in your journey!

Thanks everyone! I was originally leaning towards a different procedure, but after a lot of reading, praying and talking, I think this is the one for me. :D
