Whine -- just when I was making great process on my injury recoveries...

I took a slip on a slick oil spot in a garage this weekend, helping a friend deal with cleaning out her dad's house in preparation for him moving to assisted living.

I've been in very aggressive (code for very painful!  LOL!)  PT for my achilles tendon injury (from last fall), and a hip/SI problem that is chronic.  I've been making great progress, so the painful treatment has been worth it (breaking up scar tissue in my ankle and stretching muscles in my hip/back),  And let's not forget the tennis elbow problem (more scar tissue and stretching!)

So, now, I have a sprained ankle -- which will limit my mobility and abilty to do the PT exercises for my other ankle and hip.  So, my stall busting approach of upping my exercise and making sure my eating is less "complacent (thanks, Keith!), will now only be clean eating for the next couple of weeks -- all during a time when I have to work a lot of extra hours on a project.

OK.  My whining is over.  I am looking at the bright side -- I am 15 or more pounds LESS than I was when I was married more than 30 years ago!  And within about 10 pounds of my college weight.  Which is still a lot -- but it is a weight that I've never really been below as an adult.

The fun never ends!

What about trying water aerobics while you heal? I would think that the specialist at your PT center could easily come up with alternative exercises that you can do without aggravating anything.

Thanks!  I actually have water exercises, but with both ankles messed up, I'm laying off those for a few days as well.  Luckily, the spain is healing much faster than I thought when I posted my whine!  So, the water may actually be a possibility tomorrow!

(Note -- I have actually hurt myself in water aerobics too!  I have a special gift!)

Hmm maybe some swimming or "chair" exercises (yep ala senior/Richard Simmons)  is in order?

I'm so sorry you're going through all that.
