I made chicken breast tenderloins tonight for dinner and after the first bite had me chewing for a very long time, I got out my hand chopper and gave it a couple of whacks! Voila! Chicken that taste great, and just a little bit easier to chew to the consistency of toothpaste...my NUT would be so proud.

It's amazing the new appreciation we have for food when we get to add things in...I thought I was in Heaven when I got to add cream soup, pudding, then an egg, OH MY!!!

Try your chicken with different marinades for a variety

I had chicken for the first time too, but I am only allowed if I make it into chicken salad with some mayo....it was indeed delicious!

Im 8 month out from surgery and when it comes to chicken i can only eat 5 or six bites due to the density.  If i chop it and put a sauce on it it goes down much easier and and hold a little more.  I can eat more of fish and tuna due to it is less dense so i seem to eat more of this.  Hope this helps.

Tuna is my go to food...I just try chicken on occasion for something different...I put mine in a steamer bag so it stays very moist but chopping it makes it a little more like the consistency of tuna...definitely made a difference in how long I had to chew...
