Just found out I have sleep apnea.  So that means at least another 2 months before I get a surgery date.Wow!  This is lowest I've felt since I started this process!

I had my surgery 11 weeks ago and I have been sleeping better throughout the night. I'm pretty sure my sleep apnea is gone or not as bad since I lost some weight but I haven't been back to the doctor for another sleep test yet.

I know you are anxious but I promise you the two months will fly by before you know it. Just hang in there.

Why do you have to wait an extra 2 months?

I don't understand why this is putting your surgery off but getting my cpap machine was worth it.  I knew I was not sleeping and I was exhausted but I felt so much better once I was on the machine.  I hope to come off it soon but it makes a world of difference.

Hang in there and go ahead and use this time to prepare for the surgery.  Start doing some kind of exercise like walking or something because it will help you in the long run after your surgery and during the healing process.

BIG HUG your way!

2 months?  I had to wait a few weeks so the DR could get good data to insure it was working for me and I was compliant.

I was sooooo bummed when I got diagnosed.  I was sure I did not have sleep apnea!

Believe me,  you will feel better once you start using it.  Of all the tests I had to do to prepare, this turned out to to be the biggest benefit right off the bat!
