The scale read 298.6 this morning. I now weigh less than I have in 2 decades. I am down 87 pounds from my high last January, and 26 since surgery 6 weeks ago. I still don't believe it. After so many decades of obesity and so many failed diets, part of me doesn't trust that this time is different.

My mobility has improved immensely. The pain in my knees and back is gone. I'm feeling more comfortable in groups and social situations. My 5x clothes are hanging on me. I may go clothing shopping today.

I still have a long way to go, but I am on my way.

Did I mention, I LOVE my sleeve?
