Sleeved last Thur. and Dancin' tonight !
I had my surgery 4-18 came home the next day and have felt great. Tonight my kids had me doing Just Dance 3 on the XBOX. It is so hard but I was able to do it ! After that we put the exercise channel on on our TV (Comcast Cable) and we did some of them. I am going to start with the mile walk one tomorrow and hope I can do it. I think some of these exercises look like they would be good for people who do not want to go to a gym yet. They have such a wide variety. If you are able to get these on your TV check them out.
wow, jiller...you are like superwoman my surgery is on May 6...I honestly don't think I will be dancing or doing anything other than light walking when I am less than a week out...I will just be happy if I am able to walk around, keep liquids down, get in my protein and be on the road to recovery....you go, girl
That's awesome...I hope that I feel as good as you after surgery!

Holy smokes woman!! Mine was 3/27.. .and last Saturday was the first time I went out for any length of time. I'm a photographer and it was my frist shoot since surgery... I was out for 5 hours and pooped.. completely wiped out. It was a really big assignment, and pre-surgery, may have done a couple hours more. I admittedly have had a rough recovery (pain wise). You my dear, are a rock star. I wish I could have been so lucky!
That is great that you are feeling so well! I also was out shopping within two days of surgery and on the go. I just want to caution you to be careful about over doing it. Remember that your incisions are not healed and you could pull them apart if you do a lot of jerking movements, etc. I was not allowed to do any twisting, turning, lifting for 8 weeks. I was on the treadmill and stationary bike within two days of surgery but for short periods of time while I built up stamina. I played with the speed and incline as my endurance went up.
