Whatever you do try and get the fluids down.  I'm six weeks post op and I let it get away from me and got to the point where I had to have fluids put in via IV.  It's very hard for me to get more than 60-65oz in a day and the ER doctor said I should be trying for around 100oz.

Just start sipping on a water bottle all day long.

Amen to that!  I ended up in the same situation at about 2 weeks post-op and ended up in the ER for fluids.  Not pleasant!

SF popsicles agreed with me at that stage and it helped keep me hydrated as well. Eggs were a little difficult for me until recently. They just sat in my sleeve like a rock.

You can eat Greek yogurt and add some protein powder or even just cinnamon and a bit of truvia is good. Ask your surgeons office if they have any recipes. You can use sugar free jello and mix it with vanilla or unflavored protein powder also.

Hello, tomorrow is 3 weeks post op for me. Yeah!!!!! I wanted to tell you that I had areally hard time eating. Especially if it was something sweet. The thing that felt/ tasted the best to me was cottage cheese. Chewed up super good.
I cant do sugar free with the artificial sweeteners. Gag!
I have been putting a little cran- grape juice in my water to help it go down a little easier.
Good luck to you. Hope this helps a little.
