Hi there, I am one month out and want to know when can I start having regular protein shakes. Will they always have to be isolate?

Isolate will ALWAYS be absorbed better. But most of the ready-to-drink shakes are not isolate.  Even in my NUT guidebook, they say to use isolate, then when they list the brands of RTD, they are not isolates (Atkins, EAS, etc.).

But the isolate powders I use (Syntrax) are excellent.  And if I want to have a RTD, I make one the night before. However, I keep Premier Shakes in the pantry for emergencies!

There are also differences in your protein quality.  Some shakes are delicious, but are full of artificial sweeteners (toxic), chemicals, preservatives, and other nastiness that makes them taste so good.

I use Jay Robb, all natural.  No growth hormones or antibiotics.  No art. sweeteners.  Best of luck!
